We train undergraduate and postgraduate clinicians as a hospital. We also offer accredited courses as well as elective placements
Our clinical training is coordinated by Dr Fareed Shiva, unit training lead (for postgraduate doctors) and Dr Matthew Grundy Bowers, consultant nurse/ visiting professor of HIV and integrated sexual health.
Our courses are led by an experienced team of Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (FSRH) registered trainers and British Association for Sexual Health & HIV (BASHH) named clinical trainers and mentors. We welcome pre-registration nurses, medical and physician associate students as well as qualified medical and nursing staff who wish to attend for clinical placements and attachments, both from the UK and internationally.
Please note that course fees are payable by all healthcare professionals including Trust staff. Training fees to the department are separate for fees payable to FSRH / BASHH.
