Imperial Clinical Trials Unit

The Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU) leads primarily on the design, conduct and analysis of national and international multi-centre trials. The staff at the Unit, with specialist disease and methodological knowledge, have input at all stages of the trial lifecycle; thus ensuring all activities are in compliance with the appropriate regulatory and ethical requirements.

The Unit and its staff sit within Imperial College London and bring together academic, clinical and trial management expertise from across Imperial College Academic Health Science Centre. ICTU collaborates with Imperial College Healthcare Partners and other members of the designated Academic Health Science Network. The Unit also works closely with other clinical trials units, industry, and national key clinical and scientific opinion leaders.
