Clinical Imaging Facility
The Clinical Imaging Facility is located at Hammersmith Hospital.
The Clinical Imaging Facility (CIF) provides support for interdisciplinary research activities across Imperial College London and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, integrating the physical, biological and medical sciences.
The CIF provides the capability to investigate a wide range of clinical conditions using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), electroencephalography (EEG) and transcranial brain stimulation. The facility has particular expertise in neuroscience and oncology, as well as multimodal imaging. It is part of the Department of Medicine at Imperial College, and is located at the Hammersmith Hospital, benefiting from a long tradition of world-class imaging research on that campus.
Supported in part by the NIHR Imperial Biomedical Research Centre (BRC), the CIF currently supports a broad range of applied research studies and has strong links to academics and clinicians, as well as with commercial organisations. The facility welcomes research proposals from all academic researchers and industry.
