Become a lay partner
Help shape our care through lay partnership
A lay partner joins a project and through collaboration offers feedback and asks questions to help to ensure our care is inclusive, kind and supports our patients and communities as much as possible.
Lay partners work with Trust clinicians and managers to implement projects which can be either specific services or specialties or Trust-wide programmes.
Lay partners are asked to commit to attending regular meetings which are usually virtual and held during business hours. We particularly welcome lay partners from black, Asian or minority ethnic backgrounds or underrepresented groups and reimburse lay partners for their time.
