Trauma services GP advice

Find information and advice for GPs and referrers.

When your patient is discharged from our major trauma centre we will send you a discharge letter with details of the outcomes and any treatment received.

Many patients will also have a rehabilitation prescription to guide any ongoing rehabilitation and care needs. Patients will be given copies of these letters before they leave hospital. If the patient does not remember their GP's details or is not registered with a GP this information cannot be sent.
