Our pharmacy staff support clinical teams by optimising the use of medicines, safely dispensing medicines to patients, conducting research and providing education and training at each of our hospital sites. The department provides a 24-hour, 365 days a year on-call service.
We are a large department of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants, administrative and clerical staff, with a range of opportunities in operational teams as well as in a wide variety of specialist services. Our team is renowned for our use of technology and our integration with research. It is a really exciting time in the pharmacy departments at Imperial, as we continue on our transformation journey.

Ludwig Lupak, biomedical scientist won an award for his academic performance in his professional exams. He was awarded the Company Members Prize by the Institute of Biomedical Science, after achieving the top mark in the Higher Specialist Diploma in clinical biochemistry.
