Board in common
Each Trust has created a committee of their board directors who come together to form a board in common. It meets four times a year in public, while individual trust boards continue to meet in public at least once a year. We publish the agenda and board papers for the public meetings in advance on the North West London Acute Provider Collaborative website.
The Chair, trust chief executives and vice chairs meet as a cabinet to consider key decisions between board meetings.
The four trusts remain independent organisations, working closely with their local authorities, patient groups, and other partners. Each has created a committee of their board directors who come together to form a board in common. It meets four times a year in public, while individual trust boards continue to meet in public at least once a year. We publish the agenda and board papers for the public meetings in advance on our website.

Elective orthopaedic centre
The North West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (EOC) opened on 4 December 2023.
This means that much of the routine, inpatient orthopaedic surgery for the population of north west London now takes place in a purpose-designed, centre of excellence at Central Middlesex Hospital. The centre is expected to perform around 4,000 procedures each year.
The decision to open a new elective orthopaedic centre follows a public consultation, plus further feedback, review and scrutiny.
