JJ Keith has spent his life telling stories. An Oscar-nominated filmmaker and prominent director in advertising, JJ has lately turned to still photography to capture human stories. 

His ongoing series 'Open Britain: Portrait of a Diverse Nation' spotlights the lives of immigrants across the UK, showcasing their unique stories and the contributions they have made to our country. As an extension of this project, JJ spent time at our hospitals photographing migrant staff.  

“It was so rewarding to meet such a varied and dedicated group of staff,” JJ said in an interview about the project. “Without a migrant workforce one could argue that the NHS could cease to exist.”
