Ms Pippa Letchworth is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist dedicated to providing exceptional care to her patients. She works as a consultant at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, St Mary’s Hospital, London. Pippa graduated from the University of Bristol in 2003 and became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2008.

Ms Letchworth has built a reputation for her kind and compassionate approach, ensuring that each individual feels heard, respected, and empowered throughout their healthcare journey. Her areas of expertise include gynaecology and early pregnancy ultrasound scanning, the diagnosis and management of early pregnancy and early pregnancy complications, recurrent miscarriage, acute and benign general gynaecology including menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain and fibroids, reproductive health care including menopause management, comprehensive prenatal care and sexual health. She can also provide well women health checks.

Alongside in-patient operative procedures, she can help you with out-patient procedures such as coil/IUD/IUS insertion and removal, smear test, prolapse care and vaginal pessary use, sexual health check and ultrasound scans.

Along with her professional life in the UK, she is well known as an expert in global maternal health care, having worked extensively in the charitable sector in DRC, Northern Pakistan, Sierra Leone, North Nigeria, Uganda, Yemen, Kenya, South Africa, Ukraine, Libya, delivering life-saving care and teaching in obstetrics and gynaecology to clinicians on the front line and in hostile environments. She lectures on maternal health care internationally and for MSc and MPH. She also has a diploma in tropical medicine and a certificate in clinical education.
