Background

Dr Peter Hill is a consultant nephrologist at the West London Renal and Transplant Centre at Hammersmith Hospital. This is the largest renal unit in Europe and specialises in all aspects of renal care. Dr Hill has an interest in hypertension, chronic renal disease and genetic causes of renal disease such as polycystic kidneys and hereditary cancers affecting the kidneys.

He offers clinics in general nephrology, haemodialysis and transplantation as a part of his NHS work. He is the nephrologist for the West London Renal Genetics Clinic. Dr Hill is the clinical lead for interventional nephrology at Hammersmith Hospital and is expert in placing dialysis lines and renal biopsies.

Dr Hill is also part of the renal cancer multidisciplinary team at the Royal Marsden Hospital and offers renal input at the meeting. He also offers local clinic review at other hospitals in west London including Hillingdon, Mount Vernon and Watford General hospitals.
