Kim Whittington

Background

Dr Maria Atta has been working as a consultant haematologist at the Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, since 2017, with clinical interest in multiple myeloma and other related plasma cell disorders. She graduated from Aristotle University Medical School, Greece in 2006 and completed her medical training in the UK and her haematology training in Athens, Greece. She worked as a Clinical Fellow at Hammersmith Hospital between 2016-2017, before joining as a haematology consultant in 2017. She is a member of the UK Myeloma Society and the UK Myeloma Research Alliance. She is the chief, primary and co-investigator in several clinical trials on multiple myeloma and a member of the Hugh and Josseline Langmuir Centre for Myeloma Research.
