Background
After graduating from Leeds University, Dr Leena Mewasingh started her training in paediatrics and then paediatric neurology in the north Thames region. She also worked in a children's university hospital in Brussels, Belgium, before returning to the UK to take up a consultant post in Leicester University Hospital for two years followed by her current post at St Mary's Hospital.
