Mr Guy Martin Consultant vascular and trauma surgeon

Background

Mr Guy Martin is a consultant vascular and trauma surgeon at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and also provides care at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He maintains a broad interest and specialist expertise in all aspects of elective and emergency vascular surgery. In addition to his vascular practice, he is a consultant surgeon at St Mary’s Major Trauma Centre, one of the busiest trauma centres in the UK.

He spent 12 years in the Army Medical Services and has a strong academic focus with specific interests in digital health technologies, complex aortic disease and surgical training. He was previously an NIHR clinical lecturer in vascular surgery at Imperial College London, from where he was also awarded his PhD. He has obtained over £1.2million of direct research grant funding whilst publishing and presenting widely. He continues to advise several start-ups and established companies working across a range of digital health technologies and services.
