Background

Dr Dushyanth Gnanappiragasam is a consultant dermatologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He graduated from Imperial College and undertook his foundation training in West Sussex and then completed the core medical training in East Sussex. He subsequently completed the higher specialist dermatology training in East Midlands. Dr Gnanappiragasam achieved a first-class honours in Management with Medical Sciences at Imperial College Business School.

Dr Gnanappiragasam specialises in all aspects of dermatology including general dermatology, hair conditions and skin cancer. He has experience in managing patients from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

He leads the skin cancer MDT clinic. He is able perform full skin assessments and mole checks. Dr Gnanappiragasam performs biopsies, excisions, benign cyst removals, steroid injections and cryotherapy.

In addition to his clinical work, he has extensive research experience and has presented at various national and international conferences.
