Background

Ms Christina Yu is a maternal and fetal medicine subspecialist. She graduated from Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital and completed her subspecialty training at St Mary's Hospital and King's College Hospital, London. In 2004, Dr Yu was awarded an MD from the University of London after studying the use of low dose aspirin (150mg) vs placebo in the prevention of pre-eclampsia in women with abnormal uterine artery Dopplers at 23 weeks gestation. 

Ms Yu’s special interests include in-utero fetal therapy, such as laser for twin-twin transfusion syndrome, and in-utero transfusion in cases of fetal anaemia.
