Mr Bijan Khoubehi Consultant urological surgeon

Background

Mr Bijan Khoubehi is a consultant urological surgeon at Imperial as well as Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals. He has a sub-speciality interest in robotic surgery for prostate and kidney cancer (one of the most experienced robotic surgeons in UK- has been performing robotic surgery since 2007). He has a comprehensive practice in diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant conditions of prostate, kidney and bladder.

Having qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School with honours in 1994, he was awarded a higher degree (MD) from the University of London in 2001 for his research in genetics of prostate cancer. As part of his higher training he undertook two fellowship years in urological oncology. He was awarded a British Urological Foundation scholarship for robotic surgery.

He continues to maintain an academic interest in urological cancers as well as being a high volume robotic surgeon.
