North West London Pathology joins Paddington Life Sciences Partners
One of the largest NHS pathology providers in the UK is the latest member to join the partnership group.
North West London Pathology (NWLP) has joined the Paddington Life Sciences Partners as an associate member, bringing insight and expertise from the diagnostics sector.
North West London Pathology (NWLP) is an NHS diagnostic service using modern, state-of-the-art technology to provide millions of tests results per year. The partnership between three Trusts – Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust and The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation– has created an innovative approach that allows the diagnostics service to better manage demand, standardise operations, improve value for money and make use of new technologies. NWLP, as a thriving pathology network, is leading the way in the evolution of laboratory diagnostic delivery nationally and beyond.
Paddington Life Sciences Partners is a key driver of the Paddington Life Sciences development led by the Trust. NWLP has agreed to work together with the other 16 Paddington Life Sciences Partners to improve health and reduce inequalities through four key areas of focus: social value, diversity and equity in clinical trials, data and digital, and place and space.
As an associate member of Paddington Life Sciences Partners, NWLP will have a strategic advisory role and will also support specific projects by bringing in their expertise and insights from diagnostic innovation.
Dr Suki Balendra, Director of strategic partnerships for Paddington Life Sciences, said: “North West London Pathology is fantastic example of how services can be strengthened through partnerships. We are really thrilled that NWLP are bringing their expertise and insights into our work with a focus on our data and digital workstream and beyond.”

Paddington Life Sciences Partners constitutes a formidable alliance comprising NHS entities, industry leaders, community representatives, and academic institutions, all united by a common dedication to the community of Paddington and its much broader reach.
