New publication to widen access to key facts about Covid-19 vaccination from the latest research
The Trust has published a summary report to share the latest scientific understanding on Covid-19 vaccination with staff and patients, accessibly and objectively.
Co-authored by Imperial College’s Professor Peter Openshaw with Trust medical directors, Raymond Anakwe and Professor Julian Redhead, the leaflet will be useful for anyone who wants to build their knowledge about the vaccines.
It sets out the latest scientific evidence on vaccines and provides clear explanations on a variety of topics, including how vaccination works, why vaccines are effective in reducing severe disease, how they reduce the spread of the virus itself and the approvals process.
