Imperial College Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC) is working at the forefront of research and patient care during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this online event two experts will talk about their research into different aspects of COVID-19 vaccination.

Professor Robin Shattock is in the Department of Infectious at Imperial College London. His leads the EPSRC/NIHR Future Vaccine Manufacturing Research Hub and the Imperial COVID-19 vaccine project. He will talk about new advances in vaccine development as the pandemic has progressed.

Professor Azra Ghani is an infectious disease epidemiologist in the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis at Imperial College London. Her work has informed government responses to the COVID-19 pandemic and in this talk she will describe population modelling work that has informed the UK’s vaccination strategy.
